Dr. Cutbirth earned his dental degree at the Baylor College of Dentistry. He continued his education with a two year oral surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. During that fellowship, Dr. Cutbirth attained extensive skill in oral surgery and became certified in intravenous (IV) sedation. Additionally, Dr. Cutbirth participated in advanced training in complex restorative dentistry, aesthetic restorative dentistry and the diagnosis and treatment of facial pain.

Steven T. Cutbirth, DDS, MAGD, attended the Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1979. In addition, he completed a two-year fellowship training in oral surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry (1979-1981), where he became certified in intravenous sedation. In addition, Dr. Cutbirth received advanced training in aesthetic restorative dentistry, complex restorative dentistry, and the diagnosis and treatment of facial pain. In 2016, he was rewarded with the Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry Award (MAGD).
